Gardenia’s Angels

 

In honor of her mother, Yakima Deloatch founded Gardenia’s Angels, a heartfelt initiative that began as a team for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk and has since evolved into a growing nonprofit organization (pending 501(c)(3) status). Gardenia’s Angels is dedicated to empowering young women battling breast cancer through mentorship, holistic wellness, and community support. The organization focuses on integrating yoga for healing, raising awareness about lymphedema, promoting healthy nutrition, and inspiring survivors to embrace life beyond cancer. With a mission rooted in strength, resilience, and advocacy, Gardenia’s Angels is committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of those facing breast cancer—one survivor at a time.
